“When you uncovered the lion's face, it brought tears to my eyes. . . The details and craftsmanship that Amos put into this work of art are absolutely incredible. Both the lion and the rhino look so lifelike. Amos. . . you are absolutely amazing. ♥🦏🦁🌳”

“As a fan of Obie, I’m putting it out there that I hope a sponsor offers him an automatic ball launcher—and maybe a collar-mounted camera, too! 😁 Obie the camera-dog. Just imagine that video where Crusoe runs away from the drone; it would have been so funny to see Obie’s perspective as well! 🤭 I love all the work you've been doing.❤”

“You have a vast property in Portugal that needs to be managed year round, especially during the hot summers, which now have become the norm. With the state of the farm at the moment, it would not take much for a fire to sweep through. Bottom line you need an onsite manager year round, especially if the next year you will be spending more time in Zimbabwe, with the boys at school”

“Make sure to remove the window stickers asap or they are much harder later. And don’t be afraid of color! A deep terra cotta would be beautiful! Love the windows ❤”

“I think this whole wall is a lesson in eclectic over perfection for John, allowing the work to flow through different hands to make one beautiful, imperfect wall, and he seems to be moving with it quite gracefully. I loved the playful interaction!”

“A farm cannot be left alone for months at a time especially in summer when crops have to be planted, cared for and harvested. Full time care is needed and watching João and Letitia working extremely hard on their farm, bringing in a bumper crop, they will probably not have sufficient time on their hands to properly maintain yours. Hope you find a solution to care for the precious Portuguese property xx”

“Hi Tara and John. I’ve been watching you build your homes for many years now. but his is my first time commenting. Each episode is so full of joy and positivity. I can hardly believe anyone would give negative comments. Please know that you are loved and appreciated.”

“Such an incredible build. I hope you give the locals a chance to visit in an "Open House" after its completion. Great opportunity for everyone to "meet and greet" the artisans: Mario, the window makers, the tile company, the masons, the bee keeper, the stone quarry, etc., and maybe even some of your sponsors. The most challenging aspect would be how to handle the parking and maybe a few snacks for the social. Amazing project and no doubt the "talk of the town."”
