“Thanks for sorting out the WAN show channel and getting a channel that is just WAN. I only like to watch youtube from my subscriptions. I use unhook to not show me recommendations or the sidebar. I'm tired of algos dominating my life and controlling my feelings. I still want to watch things, but only things I choose deliberately, and having my subscriptions get flooded out was just untenable and I was concerned I would just stop watching entirely. So I'm glad you guys decided to do it this way.”

“The minecraft thing is both forward thinking and not. The old system requirements were long since obsolete and not representative of the current state of the game, so they needed an update anyhow. However, minecraft is also notorious for having a static memory allocation of 2gb of RAM by default. Changing the JVM arguments to increase this limit has long been a protip among modded players hitting stutters. Now seeing the RAM requirements being different between minimum and recommended, I hope this means the hard allocation will soon be gone. This also coincides with a future update that will introduce Vulkan and ditch Open GL, which I assume is the main reason behing the system requirements update.”

The attention to detail, and the reliance on real environments only allowing CGI where absolutely necessary is exactly why those films aged *exceedingly* well.
