“A BIG well done to Ireland...from Scotland.”
“A great game from both sides, truly a strong performance. The first goal was beautifully taken — a long clearance, great individual skill, and a clever finish. I found it quite funny in the replay when Parrott briefly raises his hands, almost as if saying, “What am I supposed to do with the ball?” And then he just goes for goal on his own. He beats our two defenders and then calmly finishes, slotting the ball through our keeper’s legs for the opener. You hardly see a better individual effort leading to a goal. The second goal came from a penalty, and I’m still not completely sure whether the ball was played first and then the opponent’s foot was caught, or whether it was the other way around. It wasn’t very clear from the replay. Nevertheless, you have to accept the referee’s decision. That’s football. Going 2–0 down right before halftime was obviously a huge psychological blow for us. In the second half, we had to make changes, because there wasn’t enough creativity in our play. There was a lot of passing, even in counter-attacking situations — passing it forward, then back again — and that’s really not our style. We weren’t able to make enough use of the spaces when Ireland were moving back, and in the end we made things difficult for ourselves. At the same time, Ireland defended really well. You got back into your defensive block, closed down the spaces and the passing lanes, and that forced us to play the ball backwards quite often. In the second half, we simply had to be a bit braver, and eventually we managed to get the two goals and make it 2–2. As I said, a great performance from both sides. I wish us both all the best, and I hope that next time we’re in Ireland, I can have a pint or two with one of you. Greetings from Austria.”
“I wish Ireland a victory and all the very best! Warm regards from Austria 💚🤍🧡”

“Did Israel send any journalists? Or just propagandists?”
“Clown at the end😂”
“This is the second game, after the first beating. And you still can't go through the Irish. Is Ireland the kick ass team here? I believe the answer is a comfortable yes. I still think Ireland shouldn't have wasted its time with those people. Nontheless, and as always. Well done!”
“Fully deserved well done 🇽🇰”
