For those wondering: 12 year old Catherine “Casey” Fish died on June 4, 1999 after choking on four marshmallows during a contest taking place at a school. The teacher supervising left momentarily and Casey and her friends began playing “Chubby Bunny” and she choked. She collapsed and was transported to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead a few hours later. Edit: Ik it makes me sad. Also a huge missed opportunity to witness the turn of a millennium over stuffing marshmallows in your mouth 😭
