Great job! Reusing the old sheets worked out well.

“If you want the pond filled up it might be worth contacting your local Fire Brigade - it’s helpful for them to have somewhere to do training on turning up to a site in a hurry, connecting all the hoses up and testing them as if they’re attending a fire. They often struggle to find anywhere where spraying large volumes of water isn’t a problem. You’d be helping them out by giving them access to train by putting out an imaginary fire in your pond. Up here in Cumbria a few people have had ponds, and even swimming pools, filled by the Fire Brigade. If you’re on a water meter it also saves you a small fortune - the Fire Brigade connect up to the nearest fire hydrant, or put hoses in a nearby watercourse (whatever would be quickest/easiest in the event of a fire).”

“Looks so good! I’d use the old sheets, and paint them, or not. You likely won’t notice them after a while. The top is too high to see, slopes away, and the underside will be in shade.”

“I would probably get rid of the old outbuilding, clearly seen better days. Unless your desperate for more storage, which I don't think you are, get rid of it and enjoy the scenery. There one thing that keeps catching my eye is how good a job you did with the outbuilding doors, they just look so brilliant.”

“If you are thinking about putting in any footings and/or support columns for a bridge structure, you should do it before you start filling the pond up with water. You should contact the UK YouTuber “Crystal Clear Aquatics”. He knows his stuff and is soo cool and laid back. You will like his work and attitude. See if he can come out and do a collab with your channel for the pond.”

“The only thing valuable about that container is the fact you were able to get two satisfying YouTube videos out of it, and maybe a bit of scrap metal if you decide to get rid of it😅”

“Well as an Ex-Spark I have Many electrical tips ;o) If you are working in cavities you want a section of trunking lid! Bend the end over and tape round it and it will find its way where you push it without dropping. If you get to your next socket drill a small hole in the lid and strip 6" of your cable and push it through the hole, twisting it round itself to secure it! You can just tape the cable to the lid but it can come off (don't ask how I know)! This is an old school trick ..... if you are modern just buy a fiberglass fishing rod set! An Electrical one not a sit by the canal and relax one! The next trick is a wire coat hanger! Straighten it out and you have the ultimate bendable fishing tool / hook! The third trick is for vertical drops (not much use to you here and now but useful to know). A good piece of builders line and a short piece of chain! Tie your chain to the line well. Then drop it down the cavity and fish it out at the bottom with your coat hanger hook! Fixing your Socket with loose or no brick behind. Drill your baclbox with a small hole in each corner with a 7mm drill bit! You can then offer it up and drill the adjacent bricks out at a 45 degree angle giving a brilliant fixing! An SDS dill is the tool for this so it does not slip while you are driling! Again this is old school ..... modern people might go for fixing foam! It looks like standard expanding foam but it Will Fix it well! Get the right product though! You can get sockets that have wago connections to them ...... this can make connections easier! I find bending the stripped cable into position and then cutting to length before stripping the inner insulation and terminating is easier than cramming cables that may be a touch too long! A quick squirt of expanding foam above that socket AND LEAVE IT UNTIL CURED before trimming it back with a knife and if you want to show off then mortar up the joint! The foam will make this easy!”
