I think all of us women collectively cried with you watching this. So glad you are out on the other side, but there's still a lot of work to be done on your part to really recover. I know as mothers we get so consumed with taking care of a baby that we tend to neglect ourselves. Please follow up with ALL your therapy sessions so you can truly heal and move forward. You will never forget what happened, but you can learn from therapy how to not let it consume you. I had a traumatic birth delivery as well, but it was my baby whose heart rate couldn't be found while I was in labor. I still remember nurses/doctors running in and trying to turn me and flip me and not getting a heartbeat. It was the longest 30 seconds of my life. It wasn't well into postpartum I realized how much and deeply it effected me. In those 30 seconds I had disassociated with my baby and pregnancy. After I gave birth, I wasn't offered any resources or help so I thought it was normal to feel not connected to your baby. I didn't feel anything for the longest time. It wasn't until I started opening up about my birth story to other women that I realized what happend and how traumatic it truly was. Sending you so much love.

“hey laiba! Doctor here working in Pakistan and i will say that tricky placenta removal is something we face quite a lot , and majority of the hospital here dont offer epidurals at all. But even as the doctor performing it, it is incredibly traumatising and something all of us doctors keep thinking about for days! I can't imagine the trauma you and the other moms must eperience while going through something like this. I am so proud of you. You are a miracle. Focus on your baby and your healing. Take as much time as you need and i would say try not to think about your next pregnancy rn. Dont put any pressure on yourself and try to process all of this at your own pace. Baby boy is so lucky to have you as his mom! Wish you both a long, happy and healthy life!”

“Hey Laiba I'm Watching this doing my istighfar with an istighfar ring. Sis (and all sisters here) I Highly recommend to do massive amounts like 1k or 2k istighfar, or more if you can. It solves so much problems and pain especially makes you immediately calmer and PEACE immediately increases.”

“Please rest, let your body heal and don't let the social media pressure you into bouncing back within days. Your body went through a lot of trauma and you need healing time. Your parents are there to help you and i think you can take advantage of this time to just rest and recover physically, mentally.”

Hate it when these comments always come from women. You literally look STUNNINGGGG!!! And have done so well with staying active. Ignore em all!”
