I can only imagine the courage it takes to open up about something so incredibly personal, especially while trying to be there for your boys and keep moving forward. It says a lot about the quality of the man you are. Your wife must have been an amazing woman, and I’m sure she would be incredibly proud of the father you are and the way you’re raising your boys. I’m a 62yo tradie and live down the road on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. I’ve only discovered your channel relatively recently, but I’ve got to say, I’ve gained so much knowledge from you in a short time. Your videos have actually become my first go-to on YouTube every morning while I’m having breakfast. I’m now a daily fan and have become a paid subscriber. I really appreciate how down-to-earth and genuine you are, and I look forward to your wisdom on EVs, solar, technology and everything else you get stuck into. You’ve become a terrific voice in the Australian media space. One day soon I’d genuinely love to meet you in person. Lunch is on me — and please bring the boys along too. “Well electrification will reduce total energy usage, due to efficiency. Total electricity usage will go up, but actual energy goes down, that's how much ICE cars and fossil fuel economies are inefficient.”

“The BEV sales figures for private buyers is closer to 50% in Australia. It's the fleets and business buyers that can write off their purchasing errors on the taxpayer. This is making the ICE sales a lot higher than they otherwise would be. Otherwise we'd have a lot higher BEV sales figures.”
