That poor dog was saved because of the person you are. You are such a blessing. God bless you.

“Hey Kelly. I'm a retired police officer and if you don't have a gun I would really consider getting one and get proficient with it. There's a lot of evil in our world that you need protection from. Just a suggestion.”

“I took in a dog that got dumped. I stopped my van, got out and said " you wanna live with me". He jumped in. He's been my best friend for 11 years.”

“Hi Kelly - Meteorologist here. FYI - No Tornado Warning is a false alarm. All warnings are radar indicated or confirmed. In both cases, there are a specific set of criteria that must be satisfied before a warning is issued. Take every warning seriously. I like your videos! Keep having fun!”

“Our local humane society, when a dog gets dumped, gets the local LEO's to check the flock camera data, the perps are identified and then prosecuted for animal abandonment.”

“Snow storm advice from a northerner...if you have a well and you think you might lose power. Fill up old milk jugs with water and set them aside. Use that water to flush your toilet if the power goes out. Also, since heat rises, if your cabin is going to get cold, put your bottled water stash in that open space above your front entryway so it doesn't freeze. Enjoyed your video, and glad you enjoyed the snow! I was on duty in the ER the whole weekend watching 16 inches of snow fall!”

“Yes, take down those 2 trees closest to the cabin. And maybe save up for a tornado shelter. Then you will have peace of mind.”

“Hello as a plumber for over 35 years living in Canada and have dealt with freezing. The only way to properly fix your problem is skirt the entire cabin and insulate the skirting and seal all openings you can see day light through in the crawl space. Then dig around you sewer line and put foam insulation board around it, then bury it. The more dirt on top the better. Your septic tank is not the issue. It’s the exposed drain.”

“Suggestion: You probably have sludge buildup in your hot water heater. To prevent problems, get your dad to drain the sludge out the next time he comes for a visit.”

“Not sure if your dad would feel comfortable with the idea or not, but I bet if he would agree to let you interview him a lot of your followers would love watching it. As you said he has become an integral part of your channel. Everyone comments on your relationship with him and loves seeing him.”

“OKAY, Kelly, Grandma here, or otherwise known as Safety Sally. You NEVER EVER want to squirt lighter fluid on an open flame; it can blow back, explode, and burn you badly. We had a firefighter in our town make that very mistake at his barbecue, and he died! Keep a small container of diesel fuel for your fire starter and use that. It ignites and burns slowly, but will not explode on you!! Otherwise, I love your new storage system, very wise, immediate place to safely secure your tools, kayak, odds-n-ends and wood. Great video as always. Love Granny Nanny”

“Make sure you stay on that filter change schedule because it will kill your water pressure if it gets too blocked up.”

“How to get rid of black mold on wood Distilled white vinegar and 3% hydrogen peroxide kill black mold instantly on contact by penetrating porous wood fibers. Both neutralize spores without releasing toxic fumes. Avoid bleach; it only strips surface color, and its high water content can drive mold deeper into the wood”
