Because of how much you love Elf, specifically the satin foundation, I tried it, I was blown away. I cannot believe how much drugstore makeup has upped there game. I also really like the Thirst Birst Drops. I like the foundation more than alot of $30 makeup. Love your spirit. I love that you show women that you want to look good and feel good at any age. “I’m 87 and the first thing I do each morning after making my bed is to fix my hair and put my makeup on. Then I am all set for the day no matter whether I am going out or staying home. Then I am never concerned about my “looks.” 😊”

I knew you had fluid overload as soon as you said you felt better the night you couldn’t sleep and propped yourself up. Being the patient is always a very scary situation, isn’t it. I am so very glad you are on the mend. I’m also glad you went to the ER as soon as you started experiencing symptoms. Sounds like your hospital took very good care of you. “I had a similar experience- I actually had fill-in appointment with the male owner of the salon, was seated at the station, and then ignored by everyone, waiting for 15 minutes for the fellow to show up. I finally said to the nail tech next to me that I would wait 5 more minutes for my guy to show up & then I was leaving… still no one volunteered an explanation or to help me. After another 5 minutes I quietly got up & started to walk out the door & only then did anyone say “wait!” But I felt a bit shunned, and just kept walking! No excuse for that lack of customer service!”

“I stopped my 90 year old mother from getting her gel nails done at the salon she’d been going to for 3 years. I lived out of state so my niece would take her whenever she could, which wasn’t very often. My mom would go months without getting her nails filled in. I told my niece to have the salon take the gels off and do just regular nail polish so my mom could remove the polish herself if she needed to. My niece said they refused and kept doing gels! When I went to visit my mom I took her to the salon and asked them to remove the gels and they said no because it would take too long. 🤔 I told them my mom would continue to visit that salon if they could do the regular polish but they said no so we left. I literally drove around looking for a salon that would help us. I actually had someone tell me to buy the stuff at Sally’s Beauty Supply and remove the gel nails myself! I finally found a place where a gentleman removed them for $20.00. Eventually I had to move my mom to my house in the state where I live and now I do her nails. Even at 90 she still loves having pretty hands! I felt like that salon was taking advantage of my mom so I’m glad she doesn’t go there anymore.”
