Color consultant here: I would match the beige tile. Since it's a small bathroom I wouldn't use too many different colors in there. You can always put pops of color like green and burgundy with towels and accessories.

“A little part of me just broke when you mentioned your neurodivergent nephew and the calm space you kept ON PURPOSE for him😢 it's not hard to be accommodating to the people you love dang it! Anyways, I broke in tears cuz I'm neurodivergent too and social gatherings leave me in crumbles for weeks and yet my loved ones expect me to tolerate all the loud music the talking the touching the smells and the utter lack order without any sympathy and take me to the grave if I'm not smiling and being all happy and bubbly because to them I'M THE ONE who isn't even trying 😐 so yeah, I'm both heartbroken and you restored a little bit of my faith in humanity 😅 I'm so glad you're such a lovely soul 🖤🖤🖤”
“Not an eyesore and not necessary. You do you and never mind people’s opinions!”
“The curtain looks very nice. You can also get a tension rod instead so as not to damage your curtain rod and you wouldn’t have to put holes in the walls. Happy summer.”
“I’m on Team Green. Maybe a soft sage-y green that would pick up the leaves in the wallpaper? It’s going to be great.”
“You are a special auntie ❤ She will remember this special day 🥰 everything looked amazing”
“Aesthetics is one thing, but convenience is another. To be accessing your fridge more than once a day and or doing laundry can become cumbersome. It's your house, and you know yourself & lifestyle. You decide.”
“Get out your shop vac wet/dry and you’ll be prepared for any additional water. Run fans as directly as possible to dry out the squishy place. Dehumidifier would help enormously.”
“Lily looked beautiful and so did your home and garden❤”
“Hello, My name is Mayoli, and I am an architect and interior designer based in Canada. I recommend painting your bathroom walls in a color that closely matches your tile. This approach helps create a cohesive and unified look throughout the space. In your bathroom, there are several architectural elements—such as the step near the toilet, the tiled backsplash on one wall, and the radiator on the opposite wall. Using a contrasting wall color would emphasize these variations and make the room feel visually fragmented. By keeping the wall color consistent with the tile, you allow the space to feel more harmonious. You can then introduce color and visual interest through the flooring and wallpaper, making them the focal points without drawing attention to the structural divisions of the room.”
“Catherine you are the full package. Beautiful, talented, funny, gracious, thoughtful and kind. I’m sure your niece will love what you have done to make her day more special and her parents must be grateful that you created this lovely spread and allowed them to enjoy their daughter’s day. Well done Catherine you little star.”
“Your shelf cabinet looks lovely stained, Catherine. Great find. ☘️☘️”
“Stained! Looks great with the wicker baskets too!”
“Definitely a green but i would match it to the green in the wallpaper x”
“I'm not team curtain. For ultimate air flow reasons, as you mention, and for practical reasons, schlepping laundry in and out and food as well. I love and appreciate utility as well as beauty, and utility can be beautiful. But the best thing is to try it and live with it and then you know for sure, right? Love your channel.”
“Noooo! Stay with the stain. Just needs more coats.”
“Well done Catherine you made everything so pretty. Your nieces dress was gorgeous. You looked so pretty as always too. What precious memories for you and your family. That’s what life’s all about ❤”
“For future reference: When you stain pine (which looks like the wood), you really need to do a wood conditioner before you stain, in order to get an even look without the blotchy parts.”
“I would do a beige-I know it’s safe, but it will really allow the floor and wallpaper to shine!”
“Oh Catherine I feel so bad this happened to you. The funny thing is I have gotten my husband hooked on your videos as well. Today we are painting our breezeway and I took a break to watch your video. I yelled to him “ Poor Catherine had a leak on her new floors!” He knew right away I was talking about you. When we watch someone for so long it feels like you are a cousin. Lol. I hope it all dries out with no further issues. 🙏”
“Option B for the toilet roll holder...I am that person who will (if I asked to use your bathroom and discovered your roll on option A) - would have to turn it round...yes...if I am in your house...be warned! i will turn that toilet roll!! No question!”
“Definitely option B!!! Neverrrrrr A 😮 ❤😂”
“Leave it stained! I LOVE it! Your kitchen is beautiful.”
“I could of cried for you Catherine, hope it dries out OK ❤”
“I hired a dehumidifier from a hire shop when this happens to me, I was amazed how much water was collected”
