“Just go dude! You'll regret it if you don't. You'll never get the same opportunity at the exact same time to go again. For decades there has always been a different reason for a person to not start their lap. So just do it. Start the lap with most of the coastal areas first incase of shortages. Less busy on the roads now too as everyone has been fear mongered out of travelling you'll have heaps of places to yourself. Even if you run out of money half way through the lap because of the prices. You can still be proud you did it. And then just go continue the second half at a later date.”

“If your going through all this effort to make the car right I would strongly recommend doing the big end bearings especially if you don’t know when they were last done. The 1hdt are prone to wearing them out. I am currently rebuilding the bottom end due to a spun bearing and for $150 it’s good preventative maintenance”
