Put a rug under the table! It will help ground that area and make it feel more cozy

“If you think the chandelier is too big for over the table and don't want to send it back, you could move it to the entryway. And then get the longated one that you wanted for over the table . It's very pretty. I think all of your items are very nice. I love all of the updates you are doing.”

“Very nice Kim. I would suggest adding the bench in the back”

“You mentioned that we as parents don’t have the option but to do do do. Respectfully I disagree. We don’t have to sign up for everything especially for young ones. And it’s ok for them to be disappointed if they don’t get every opportunity.. it’s good for them actually (even if it’s hard for us as parents to say no). If you want to and it suits your family of course ! But if it’s too much step back and choose not to: we don’t want to be MARTYR MOMS. I stumbled upon that definition and shifted my entire perspective”

“You are definitely a perfectionist. Your kids have everything, tons of extracurricular activities, friends over constantly, their own rooms (which you are always redecorating), a playroom, a refrigerator full of snacks, new wardrobe for every season....if anything you do too much. Give them time to be bored. You are doing great, your kids are very blessed to have you and your husband. They are having the childhood that 95% of kids can only dream of. Cut yourself some slack.”

“Ugh, speaking of grief. Every. single. word you said is so true. Today marks 8 months since my hubby passed unexpectantly. We are only 45, have been together since we were 16. EVERYTHING reminds me of him. Everything is so hard. Thanks for being a light spot in my mornings! Hubby would come in my craft room sometimes and say 'oh you're watching that lady again!" lol ♥”

“Kim...I just reached the part where you said " I felt guilty for the mom I couldn't be when I was in survival mode" I am speechless because you are a mother of five healthy beautiful children and you do so amazing you have to give lots of grace to yourself because surviving is an amazing acheivment when it's just you on your own...reminder to myself before anyone else ❤❤❤”

“As always, love every video. But I will say, I love that you still reference the 411° for oven temp. The OGs will know this reference! And it has been a blast being here with you through everything!”

“I made “This is my participation shirt” tshirt for all the kids. They wear it on pirate day and whatever other nonsense days they don’t have an interest in dressing up for.”
