“Omg your my comfort show . 6 years ago when my mom passed I was freaking wreck ( I have been watching your video years longer then 6 years ago ) I would call her at least 3 times a day . My best friend. Your 3 times a week videos gave me that normalcy to look forward to . You talking made me feel like someone else was in the room with me while I cleaned or did what ever. Your video would come on and I would say let me get my ass up and do something. So for that thank you for being my comfort video, you and golden girls cuz that I used to watch with my mom. Everyday. ❤”

“I believe that when I get strong memories from a scent or song that reminds me of a loved one who has passed, that it’s the loved one actually with me at that moment. I recently had to put my cat down, and walking out of the clinic I suddenly smelled my mom who passed several years ago. As if she was there to comfort me. Suddenly I felt like a little girl wrapped up in my mom’s arms, safe and sound.”

“How times have changed! Your children are very lucky. Back in my day, if you had older siblings, you inherited all their stuff. You didn't always get new things—except maybe for underwear, haha! Your backpack lasted for years, and you’d just toss your lunch inside in a small bag. There were no water bottles—just a simple jar, in the best-case scenario. I think it’s fine to give your kids whatever you can, but you also have to teach them to take care of things and to save. Keep it up!❤”
