“unfortunately this happens more than we ever hear, thanks for stepping up, 30 years FAA retired and the one that stands out, of too many, lady flies towards emergency exit, after 3 hours and only 1.5 hours out KDBL , gets tackled by tiny attendant just missing handle I get a hold, pick her up and this huge guy = her husband- with purse in hand says put her on the seat and reaches in purse and says "see she didn't take her meds, so sorry" as we held her her shoves 2 tablets in her mouth with arm around her neck so she bucks harder and he hauls back and punches her on the jaw, knocks her out, we duck tape her ankles, seat bealt, wakes up 30 min later crying and apologizing saying meds kicked in, after landing cops met them just off flight , nobody complained so they took her to a hospital. she was about 5'10"”
