“You can use almost any fruit 1:1 with sugar, and it makes a phenomenal syrup. I have apple, strawberry, kiwi, pear, plum, pineapple, and peach in my refrigerator right now. Edit: Holy crap. Weigh your fruit. Whatever that number is, weigh out the exact same amount of sugar. Grenadine people: Use pomegranates. Grenadine is pomegranate-flavored.”
