“I'm pretty sure it's because they see Sakuras (Cherry Blossom) as sacred. Also, why is everyone arguing about how it came from China and available in other countries?? Take mountains for example— they're almost everywhere, some are just there, some are famous, and some are sacred. It's all because of how the people see it. Please just respect it when you're in their area, even if you have a different view. Edit : I just realized I did a typo of "their" and wrote it as "they're". Sorry! Also, I did a bit of research on why they're sacred! It's mostly tied to the samurai symbolism as well as the Shintos(Japanese folklore spirits or deities) and Buddhist beliefs and traditions!”
