@jamesphlames7498700likes1 commentI was in rehab back in 2018 because i was a loopy chronic drug addict. Once per week we were allowed to gather in the community room and watch 1 DVD that had been checked by the staff to make sure it didn't contain any violence or scenes that might trigger all the recovering addicts in the rehab. So one week we were allowed to watch a Carl Barron DVD which everyone was excited for because entertainment is scarce when your inside a treatment centre. Anyway, as soon as the DVD started everyone started laughing before he had even said anything because he's such a funny-looking bloke. Then he began telling his jokes and doing his routine. The entire room went crazy and erupted into hysterical laughter like i had never seen before. Watching a room full of 40+ addicts losing their minds over a comedy routine was absolutely hilarious. Some of them were laughing so hard that they had to leave the room because they couldn't breathe properly and others were on the floor writhing around because they had an overload of natural adrenalin that they probably hadn't experienced in decades. It was the most bizarre and crazy thing i have ever witnessed. Ever since then when i stumble across a Carl Barron video i get flashbacks to that room of hysteria from 2018! He's an absolute legend! 😂
