“This is an explicitly mature swinging news edition”
“I bought a giant avocado fruit 3 years ago , I dont know if it was a jala, choquette or something else, but it grew so fast, I had to lop it's top off, I also accidentally hit it badly twice with the brush cutter, it stopped growing , but put out flowers this summer and right now I have about 50 tiny avocados in the tree, it's really exciting”
“Housing costs are crazy. Even if you adjust for inflation, an average house in 1980 was only about $250k - now it's four times that! Time to bring back the National Housing Commission”

“I severely doubt a lit cigarette wouldn't burst it!”
“These shows are great! I really appreciate the honesty of your guests. I wish all of them a moment of knowing they are loved and accepted for all of who they are. And I particularly want Pierre -- to be episode specific -- to stay open to the possibility of someone compatible to share that experience, and hopefully life, with you. Even if you don't, keep being you!”
“the home made one looks tastier too”
“What a cool guy he is- I would love to hang out with him”
“This show keeps surprising me pleasantly”
“I found them too cold ot too hot. Plus i wonder if any heavy waterbeds crashed through 2 floor floors.”
“They've been waging war on us for generations. But keep telling yourself you're living.”
“That last lady looked so unhappy 😢”
“Strong parallels between 1970s oil shocks and now. But this time the oil shock won't go away”
“I will not stand for butter slander”
“I've never had a desire to partake in BDSM, but people have been doing it since the dawn of time. If they are consenting adults who respect each other, it doesn't matter what I think. We don't know what anyone does in private, so who are we to judge?”

I ask 'shall we do that together?' So instead of asking if they need help crossing the road I'd ask 'Hey, would you like to cross the road together?' It's such a small thing but it can really boost someone's feeling of autonomy.
my father fought in vietnam. he never spoke of it my whole life, even when he was asked about it. he is dying now & is receiving hospice care… vietnam is all he talks about now. it is horrible the evil memories he has been carrying around for over 50 years. he cries about it.
Veterans reveal what they really think about war | You Can't Ask That | Full Episode1mo agoView on YouTubethe man that talked about the printed page he wanted to touch as a child and then wishing to be able to see a printed image more than the face of his loved onces moved me so much. I totally get that. He grew up without computers, wrote a 600 page book by memory!! and became a professor. what a legend that man is!
I adore this series so much. I live in the US, on the east-central coast of Florida. I work as a manager at a Wendy's. There is a homeless man, probably in his late 30's or early 40's, who comes in every 2 to 3 months, and asks for me, specifically, because the first time he came in after I became a manager there, he asked for a manager to speak to, and whispered across the counter "Is there any way I could get anything to eat? I'm homeless and I'm hungry. Anything will work." I made him a Dave's Double, gave him a medium fry and a cup for something the drink. He almost started crying as he was thanking me repeatedly. I told him "I've been where you are, my friend, and even if giving you this kindness were to cost me my job, it would be worth it, because I'd rather know I am kind, than be cruel just to placate corporate greed." Homeless people are still people. Still HUMAN. If you are a human being, you should have the capacity to be empathetic to other human beings, even when you can't understand their position. Just be kind, people. (Edit for spelling errors)
I just saw on Google that Grace is a lawyer!! Amazing!! From homeless to lawyer! That's truly inspirational.
