It’s such a beautiful movie. I watched it last night again in theatre. I a Pakistani woman, sat next to an Indian girl who was very excited about it. I cried, she cried during the movie , and then she said now I understand why you came to watch it a 2nd time. This movie is like everything we heard about partition from our grandparents. I’m glad they didn’t show any unnecessary hate, because both sides had only humans, who suffered, that’s how the British planned it, to divide and rule and leave this place in pieces that can’t be put together since they’re covered in horrifying accounts of bloodshed and what not.
