I used to be a flower shop salesman, and yes it will perk up faster but it will also shrivel up much faster. Any heat will vastly shorten the shelf life of cut flowers (don’t put them next to your fireplace). Edit: and if you’re giving flowers as gifts, put them in the fridge until you gift them. They’ll stay fresher longer.
