“not to mention that is by far the most good looking handheld ever produced”
“The ability to reverse the cable is the extra mile in designing/engineering this charger. Well done. No extra cable needed in a minimal packout”
“Can someone please introduce this guy to the YouTube chapter feature?”
“Putting the mag in the charging brick & flipping the cable is truly well thought out! ⚡️”
““None of that is confirmed, but the lineup is looking stacked””
“Cost prohibitive, but this is actually the first foldable that is enticing me.”
“im keeping the 13 mini until it turns to dust 🙃”
“the point of that bag clipper is that you have something useful that can be printed with the leftover fillament”
“I keep hearing this "a couple hours" to setup for the AYN Thor... You never stop. 😏”
“Sam Altman when I fucking catch you”
“The aspect ratio is perfect for Nolan’s movies”
“Oppo is killing it”
“if you had a PSP as a kid and didn't realize how dope it was. YOU WERE RICH BRO”
“I have a 12 hour flight this Friday. You just gave me motivation to mod my PSP. Thank you <3”
“Can't wait until we circle back to older phones”
“I’d buy half that phone. Zero interest in a foldable”
“Even a compact phone just the size of the front screen without the flip would be nice”
“WE NEED A 18 Mini !!!!!!”
“Oppo has probably one of the best engineering teams. No matter what they design it’s mostly reference.”
“Apple should restart selling mini phones... like just name it Iphone neo and make it affordable like macbook neo.”
“I did the same thing with the 16 Pro and went to the 13 Mini. There’s absolutely nothing I was doing on the 16 Pro that justified the $1000 price tag (I buy unlocked) My 13 Mini cost $200, replaced the battery for $89 and it’s been the best smartphone ever… the size, weight, cameras everything is more than enough for me especially at the price”
“My issue with 3D printing is that people get fixated on 3D printing things that are not needed. A lot of these products can be bought for a similar or cheaper price than it costs to print them (not including the time). The other issue is that people think everything must be 3D printed. Take the chair and phone holder for example. Aluminum tubes can be bought for very cheap, easy to work with, are much stronger, and take WAY less time than waiting an entire day to print. I’ve used wood, glass, and metal with my 3D prints countless of times. You end up with a MUCH better item that may be stronger, cheaper, more visually appealing, and takes less time to create. Once I started thinking in this mindset (what parts MUST be 3D printed and which parts can you substitute with another material), it opened up way more possibilities and my creations improved drastically. Not everything HAS to be in plastic.”
“I worked on a university project for my senior year of engineering where we inspected the water and microbial retention of different 3D printed materials (not including resin print methods). Basically looking at if and how liquids and bacteria get trapped in differen plastics used in FDM manufacturing. The findings were that all 3D printed materials were at risk of liquids seeping into small holes in the layer lines and bacteria hiding in-between layer lines which are difficult to properly clean. Granted the experiments were handicapped from poor university support and lazy teammates, but even still I would not recommend putting anything into your mouth that comes into contact with a 3D print”
“Creases only bother non-fold users”
“I've used Z fold phones for a few years now. I'm visually impaired and I see a lot better with my left eye. So, essentially I'm always looking at stuff at an angle. Consequently, the crease is almost always visible to me if the phone is in its portrait orientation. As such, these new creaseless phones are very exciting for me.”
