“The photo of uncle Stephen (13:46) reminds me of Amaury’s oldest son!”
“As someone who absolutely adores alcoves, I would actually get rid of it in the upstairs bedrooms. I would split that middle area between the two bedrooms in half, removing the alcove, and just creating 2 larger, normal sized bathrooms with a hidden door in each bedroom. The shower room looks like it will be in tinier than what's at the chateau and it's already small. And this way you don't have to go to two separate, closet sized rooms just to complete your nighttime routine, you would be able to just have everything in one bathroom.”
“Percy, in my humble opinion, stole the show. Simply elegant. I can picture him stepping out of the St. Regis, New York, and into his Rolls for a night on the town. BRAVO PERCY!”
“Great vlog Steph! My wife and I love the variety of your shows. You take us to places and introduce us to great personalities! Your show goes way beyond DIY, and than goodness for that! We are from Virginia, and we figured 1 mil euros for the townhouse?! We were shocked at 300k.”
“I would definitely insulate the attic, even if no rooms are ever finished up there.”
“I think it’s wonderful that your Mother and Percy are still traveling as much as they are, and are so active. Your mothers new hair style this trip really looks great . So well suited for her! ❤ to you all”
“Remembering how heartbreaking & stressful it was, when you learned how enormous a job fixing the original (but not actually original 😂) grand salon was going to be, to the beauty & grandeur of the feasting hall, well done Stephanie & Philip. The bat must be the Chateau thanking you for the resurrection. Xx”
“Prayers for France and Spain, the states and Canada.”
“That rug is drop dead gorgeous, beautiful.”
“The doors are lovely! But the sheet fabric looks to me like...a sheet. I think it's the plain white background that makes it look so beddingish. And in the video it does make the fireplace look dinghy. I think it would look much nicer to use moulding strips to create "paneling" on the walls, painted in white and two shades of the same blue, then use the bedding fabric for the bed and curtains. The house is going to be rented to groups, who will be unsupervised, unlike at La Lande. White fabric on the walls seems very perishable.”
“Phillip, if you instead eliminate the alcoves in the last two bedrooms, and move the beds further out into the room, there will be space enough for two small, but "proper" bathrooms 😉”
“Extraordinary. Emailed the agent!”
“You have just christened the house!”
“Don’t forget the moss /shells at the bottom of the beautiful candle holders”
“I pray all those village wineries on Bordeaux are safe from the threat of the fires! I have heard one or two have succumbed to flames!!🙏🙏🙏😔❤️”
“My heart sank when I heard the bottles crashing - so glad you could save the majority”
“What a blessing to have Ben on board! Kudos to you Sir!”
“My brother wanted a fret saw but they were too expensive. However the hardware store had a lot of them but they were not selling. So he suggested that he demonstrate them one weekend in exchange for one for himself. He sold all of them and took one home. More than one way to get new items for yourself. 😀”
“You are so blessed with such quality tradesmen .”
“I'll give this channel one big thumbs up....It never quits. Thanks for being one of the few we can always count on Stephanie. Your tenacity knows no bounds.”
“Bas is incredibly talented. The painting of the conductor is exquisite.”
“A little peek into the future! It's going to be beautiful!”
“When I was a child , I played with paper dolls. They had outfits with paper tabs . When I look at how Philip is dressed I am reminded of that”
“The flying bat means good fortune and happiness! The cake looked soo much loved! Happy birthday to the handsome resident porcelain master!”

Why are the episodes with Dan and Stephanie always the best ones? Definitely a little magic there. 😉
Such a charming home. Quite a bit larger than it appeared from first glance. She seems so sad to leave. I'm sorry for whatever has caused them to sell.
I didn't trust any of those wine racks the moment I saw them.
Happy 30th Birthday Phillip!! 🎉🎉🎂🥳🎊🎁
Dan cleans up really well. He is always so easy going. Thanks for taking us to dinner with you both.
Stephanie, you have definitely made a positive difference in my world. Your vlogs have brightened many days for me. I have a good life, but you make it better. By the way, you are really glowing today.
Don't use this fabric for the walls. The pattern is way too irregular. It would create too much unrest. Marie Antoinette's bedroom only had it around the bed and for the curtains. The walls were in a plain colour. That's much more pleasing to the eyes.
Thank you so much for sharing the photos of your aunt and uncle and your parents! Would love to see a photo of Jerry when he was a little boy.
The science behind the dishes is to be admired.
Well at least the ghosts living in the cellar will be in good spirits!❤❤❤
