“TV producers actually need to make a documentary on the Lions’ three-peat seasons and this particular Grand Final - it’s possibly one of the greatest ever uses of sports psychology and pure genius football coaching in ANY sport. To use the tolling bells of Wharfie Time against a team that was minutes away from winning was nothing short of a sporting prowess perfection. It shows that the Lions are so mentally strong, as well as ultra skilful players, led by an extraordinary coach and backed by a superb support team. Three-peat. 🦁🦁🦁”

“freo played great. I think the Pearce injury affected the game far more then wharfie time. I cant explain that last few minutes though. Will Ashcroft is built different.”

“I have a weird story with Fremantle and AFL. I’m from Kenya and have never been to Aus. While I was in boarding school in South Africa we had a kid from Aus there and at first we bonded over cricket and then he showed me some AFL games. As a joke I said I would support the worst team and picked free and that was 2013 when they made the Grand Final. This year was the first time I got back into AFL since 2013 and bizarrely the Dockers are in the GF again!”

“You do good sports my Aussie friends, you play your games in the middle of the night here in Miami but stayed up for AFL grand final, and woke up early for the two NRL Semi finals, and I fell in love... Nothing will ever replace our gridiron football and Ice hockey are my top two... But I don't watch Basketball anymore, I hardly watch Baseball, Rugby Union whistles are driving me crazy, so these two top sports of yours are growing on me! I Would invite you to come play a game here, but I don't think we have a stadium with enough real-estate to fit the pitch the AFL Plays on... Well Central Broward regional park is a cricket park but it's 25K only...”
