“I wouldn't call it unconditional love. I also wouldn't call it post partum, like someone said in the comments. Nature doesn't have the comforts and aren't emotional first like humans. Nature has to think survival first. Humans love to attach emotions to the actions of animals, but animals listen to their survival instincts almost 💯 of the the time. Humans are emotionally based and are after comfort over survival nearly 💯 of the time. Just the way it is. Getting rid of the baby bird was the mom realizing she'll lose all 3 if she doesn't do something, so rather than that happening she cast the runt, the least likely to survive, from her nest. We can't know for sure how the bird feels about it, but I would also like to think she regrets it, wishing she had the ability to keep all 3 with her. Alas, without human intervention or her mate picking up the slack if he isn't already, she had to let him go.”

The rabbit knows exactly from this distance his enemy can't reach cuz on land he is faster...think a army jet they need to start slow from the ground

For those who doesn't know, rabbits doesn't experience heat/rut like other animals. They can get pregnant again after just a week of giving birth. If that happens, the mother withdraws from her current litter. So what he is doing is good. Baby rabbits only needs to be fed once a day.
The farmer clearly saw the bird, he stopped when he had gone the length of the tractor, raised the cultivator, went forward, and lowered the cultivator after it had fully passed over the bird. Not certain death

We get rabbit nests in our yard every year. I plug the hole with a rock when mowing the lawn. The moms only come back once or twice a day. The babies eat our roses, but they are cute.
I know this is ai but this is a real bird most of the time it cleans off parasites but sometimes it can pick on scabs and healing wounds to drink the blood from animals
