“Old Mill Rides” are a very old classic type of ride (aka early 1900s) that were built all over the country/world. Looks like MN’s was built in 1915. They are also known as “Tunnels of Love” so you can imagine the purpose they served in a time where it was quite difficult for young couples to get some…alone time. 😅 I think they are mostly preserved for historical purposes in a lot of places at this point, but some places have tried to make them more exciting. (Would recommend Defunctland’s video on Garfield at Kennywood Park for more detailed information and laughs.)
