“To you kids at home, DO NOT PLAY WITH MELTED SUGAR. While in culinary school one of my baking teachers had this nasty story. She had a lovely girl in her class who was about a week off from getting married, and it was sugar week...Girly was making some candy and got some molten sugar on her hand and panics a little. For some reason homegirl used her MOUTH to clean it off her hand and ended up inhaling the molten sugar. The sugar then burned a hole through her trachea and they had to call off that wedding for several years. Sugar gets to a point thats HOTTER than boiling water when melted. PLEASE dont not play with molten sugar unless you are an adult and know wtf you're doing.”
