“You need a good lawyer to write your contracts. It’s not that hard. I recommend making it customer friendly, and not like super abiguous. They don’t want to feel like you could screw them over if they get a bunch of 2 inch snowfalls. You could do it by snowfall measured by x amount of inches by xyz weather station, number of visits, etc. Give notice of any surcharges and opt-out clauses. If the customer knows it’s just to cover the cost and not make a bunch of money off of them there will be less resistance.”
