“Hi guys, The Maltipoo is my dog, Boston, I may as well have given birth to the little guy and know his behaviours - he’s absolutely fine, he loves being around other dogs. Otis is a baby and he’s learning to find his feet so we only ever let them play for around 20 mins and then we split off, this clip is from when we first got to the walk so naturally Otis Is intrigued and Boston is 5 now so he’s much more relaxed and a grumpy man. Bostons used to puppy’s and he was not distressed, after this clip Bost was matching the excited energy. I’m not concerned about Boston so no one else should be. Probably best to leave it to the professionals, Zoe & Danny work with one weekly, little Otis has come on so well since. Boston sends his love & he is in fact, thriving x”

“With the question on letting Otis upstairs, we used to have a pug called Winston who we predominantly kept downstairs, towards the end of his life we let him go everywhere but he was so used to not being upstairs he rarely did it. Looking back, I wish I’d have just let him go wherever he wanted, we were his whole world and I regret not letting him follow where we went. I do agree with not letting them / on the bed and sleeping in the bed ideally as it comes with a whole host of other issues! But I think when you & Danny are home it could be good to let him roam with you guys? I know everyone has different lifestyles and preferences but I know next time I get a dog I’ll be doing it differently! ❤”

“We had a difficult experience with Phil after several lessons. Things changed when he recommended using an e-collar on our 7-month-old cavapoo, which caused a severe fear response. Unfortunately, our dog was left traumatised and still shows sensitivity to noises or vibrations near his neck. While he did share some useful tips, we decided to move to a different trainer afterward. Sharing our experience so others can make an informed choice.”

Any spaces that you are unsure of, live with it for a while. The house will eventually tell you what you need where by how you live in it, this will save errors and unnecessary spending. Congratulations on the house and it is beautiful ❤

Zoe I mean really well here and as someone who had a dog with zero boundaries, the dogs weren't playing in those clips, the little dog wasn't enjoying the interaction. Otis is a puppy and still has a lot to learn including boundaries, I'd speak to a trainer about it. I just don't want him running up to a dog who won't accept the interaction and ends up snapping.

Interior designer here….lovely home…well done. In your bedroom behind the bathroom door in that open nook space you should do built in cabinets with doors for towels, sheets, toilet paper, extra beauty products etc. Build it floor to ceiling. Have it done when they build out your dressing room. On the opposite side definitely do a makeup/vanity with drawers. You need a place to sit and do skincare and makeup. Do the mirror above it as big and tall as you can to expand the space and reflect light. I’d love to help you decorate!
Zoe there’s nothing wrong with not wanting children! It’s not a bad or selfish thing. You shouldn’t feel bad or like you need to force yourself to want them. There’s a lot more in life and not everyone has the same story. Don’t base a decision on what other people want or what society deems as the norm, do whatever you want!
Otis is absolutely terrorising the little dog, he needs boundaries.
Just a tip, people often mistake high energy dogs as needing a tonne of exercise and they defo are built to go go go but mental stimulation (sniffing, puzzles etc) tire them out far more than just exercise
