“Selena I just want to encourage you as someone who’s been doing bridal makeup for over ten years- all of the comments criticizing that everyone looks the same don’t realize that when you’re not doing “social media makeup” like the other prominent bridal makeup artists I see on here, most women don’t want to look like they are wearing a mask…. And because of that everyone tends to look very similar. Bridal makeup isn’t the same as red carpet glam. It can be, but the majority of REAL women (every day, not chronically online, wants to look like themselves and not an insane transformation) don’t want that- and I speak to this as a bridal makeup artist who’s done hundreds of weddings. People in the comments just don’t understand that, which is okay. Your work is the epitome of ‘you, but enhanced’ and I think you execute it flawlessly!! Also as a MUA, usually clients show you some version of the same photo all day as inspiration and you just slightly tweak it to match their features- I always go slightly lighter than what clients show me because no one really actually wants it that intense unless the person really stresses that they want a mask.”
“Isn’t this the girl who tries to get a bunch of brands to sponsor her wedding?”
“Omg my two fav YouTube channels combing together ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Edit: Omg. OST like I’ve ever had”
“"Dermatologist here..."”
“No matter what the ladies specified, they all came out looking 100% the same 😂😂”
“You look like her, but your makeup looks the same as always”
“Collagen does not absorb through the skin. The molecules are too big to pass through the skin barrier.”
“Yall don’t understand that her speciality is soft glam and natural looking makeup so naturally she gets hired by those who are interested in this style. She’s already mentioned that in another video.”
“Imo that is *NOT* proper 2016 makeup, feels more early-mid 2000s with the concealer lips”
“I love how the first girl didn't want eyelashes at first but then got them in the end ❤ it tied her look perfectly”
“They all looked the same regardless of the picture inspo. But they all looked beautiful.”
“The beautiful older brunette lady that said no foundation- wow! Her skin was already phenomenal, she definitely didn’t need one drop of it! All the girls looked beautiful”
“You were not lying, that girl is gorgeous before your makeup but stunning after!!!”
“Personally, this is stifling creativity. Yeahhh 2016 makeup is a bit outdated but they're many things that 2026 makeup lack too.. IF she feels good doing the 2016 "mess" then u could've kept some aspects of it instead of rehauling it completely.. just to look like every other.”
“I love how appreciative all these ladies were. They all seemed to be very kind. Ur an amazing make up artist”
“No, you did not do her makeup. You did your regular makeup”
“Aw I love the bridesmaids cheering for their bride to emphasize how beautiful she looked 💕”
“You look like her bc your features are similar. This makeup look is your signature look.”
“No time/energy for 80% of this. I’m lucky if I remember to eat 3 meals a day and put on deodorant. That’s why I like living vicariously through people who have the energy for this.”
“y'all, don't dermaplane. do your skin a favor and just don't.”
““the girl that I was creeping on” 😂 I wish I can have someone do my makeup I am terrible at it.”
“I have a SERIOUS question that is bothering me to no end. First the makeup is beautiful. No hate here. BUT When someone says pink, why are the colours pulling brown, grey, etc and not actually pink. Is it the cameras ? I have seen this many times now, not just you. Even other weddings. Even though the work looks great, it’s still not the pink look I see on say other people/models. I’m not saying like vibrant pinks or neons. I’m saying natural pinks”
“I love how all three girls asked for different looks and got the same makeup! 😂😂😂😂”
“They are look gorgeous, and I'm definitely not trying to be mean or rude but like that one showed a picture and it wasn't nothing like the picture that she wanted , an almost all of the ladies are always so natural even when they ask for more. Is that your more comfort zone because not everyone likes a glowy makeup but again I'm not trying to be rude at all I'm coming from a hairdresser point of view and I just now that I had to learn to be more flexible when it came to my clients so I know it's hard but I got refresher to help me grow. ❤”
“7 girls in 4 hours is mental work”
