“Our vet commented on how clean our three dogs ears are. We said we really don't clean them because they never seem to need it. The vet said "You have a female cat ... Don't you?" Sure enough we paid closer attention and indeed Mittens was the groomer.”

“I found a wolf—neither very young nor fully grown—that was injured, so I nursed it back to health. Once it recovered, I took it to the forest and let it go. Since my home is near the forest, the wolf—a grey one—began returning with its pack; they would sit both outside and inside my house as if guarding it, which was a truly wonderful thing.”
