“The strange wire and part of the cement bag that you questioned in the video is a temporary plug and that placed in the floor toilet drain to keep sewer gas coming up from the drainage/sewer system and “smelling up” the bathroom. Here in the US we typically use a rag to do the same. It is a temporary plug and also keeps tiles or tools or anything else from falling into the toilet drain.”

“Hey candice, thank you for this video and thank you for explaining to everyone that you will not get all new furniture and have your audience think you will do a full make over, sometimes things are not as easy. It's like when you buy a home in the US, some of us barely make it for the down-payment and do not have money for the furniture you obtain these items little by little. Congrats to you guys. I can't wait til you guys officially move in yeay”

“I’m 63 now but I still remember when I was younger and had small kids. Our washer broke and we had bought one of the new front load washer. It broke and got moldy shortly afterwards. We had this older appliance guy come out to try to fix it. He said I can fix it or for less you can buy a Speed Queen top load washer to replace it. He said when you buy appliances with lots of bells and whistles, it just means that it has more things to break and replace. He told us whenever you buy an appliance to take that into consideration. We bought a laundromat style Speed Queen to replace the washer. Later found out that the front loader had a reputation for breaking down. We sold our house with our washer and dryer over 12 years ago. The couple that bought our old home still has the same washer and dryer. We bought new Speed Queen washer and dryer with minimal bells and whistles. 12 years later they both haven’t had any issues except for a bird coming into the air vent of the dryer and making a nest. We solved that issue by putting on a wired vent cover on the outside of the house. My husband passed away 3 years ago and my oldest son lives with me as I’m now disabled with severe arthritis. I’ve now have made a notebook with when to do household seasonal tasks and make sure whatever I buy has longevity so he doesn’t inherit our home needing difficult or expensive upkeep. I love how you and Fidel are looking at the future when the boys will be caring for your home. 💕💕”

“Poncho is such an awesome uncle. Those babies will forever remember the fun times they had with uncle Poncho. As a grown woman and a mother now I still remember my parents’s friends who were the best uncles and aunts by the way they made us feel as kids. I’m in love with your family and community. I have always loved Mexican culture and food and watching your videos and family makes want to be part of it. May God continue to bless your beautiful family❤”

Thank you for taking her in. The only thing I hate about my beautiful country is all the animal cruelty that still exists.

Candace, I love the hood the way it is all natural. I don’t think it needs any extra embellishments. I think I may have mentioned to you I am a real estate broker over 24 years in Texas. I love how kitchen has turned out. Tell Fidel and boys “Howdy”. Cant wait to see you and Ruby cook.

The hood is perfect. It definitely stands out and I feel it doesn't need anything else but a fresh coat of paint.

I love the way Fidel is speaking slower and taking his time to explain. So much easier to understand. Amazing Fidel, keep up the great work.
