“I accepted a dog from my sister because she said she couldn’t handle him hiding under her house hit in his head by a vehicle causing him to walk in circles so I called the Vetenarian and he told me what to do so walked him on a leash not allowing right or left and not off leash and it took patience and a lot of time but finally he walked straight and normal. It was like a miracle. I think it would be worth a try with the bear as it affected his mind like shock and would break the habit.”

Fun little fact for you, bears are not true hibernators, they enter a specialised almost dormant state known as Torpor that is usually a short term state lasting hours to a day. Which means while they do sleep as all things do they wake intermittently but are in an almost suspended form only moving to stretch, change position or on rare occasions leave the den for moisture. Bears can remain in this state for months but even more surprisingly can pull themselves out of it in seconds if their den is damaged or disturbed (which can cause them to become very aggressive and sometimes Ravenous), true hibernators remain in Torpor for weeks or months continuously without waking.
Me on my way to the kitchen at 2am repeating "winter is coming! Winter is coming! " and it's May.

I live in Florida . I saw a shore bird take bread pieces that a guy was throwing to the birds . It put the bread in the water & then spread it wings like that . Using the bread as bait to attract the fish .-
