“Destroying the og shell is painful to me, I would have gone with a new aftermarket shell and store the og parts. Other than that it turned out great!”

“This CRT is great! I have the smaller model, the KV-20XBR, and absolutely love it. The best part is the RGB multi input on the back, a true rarity for a American consumer CRT. The port is proprietary, but you can get adapters to convert it to SCART! I have one plus an NTSC Wii I soft modded to output over SCART and I use it a ton!”
“that kid just got a core memory.”
“Wow now I can finally play smash 4 on the big screen”
“Point and example of why things get ruined by people like this 😂”
“this is why the Goodwill's in my area are Dog Shit!!”

“And the Ape Escape credits theme? You deserve the w on this, honestly cool setup on the crt. Seeing you carry it brought back so many memories of having to lug around those haavy things to help move when i was younger”

As someone building & rebuilding battery packs since 2018. I can confidently say do not build a pack from cells right out of the box. Doesn't matter if you buy it directly from the manufacturer. They all have slight manufacturing differences & have different self discharge even straight out of the box. So first run them through a charge cycle individually. Then run a capacity test on each one of them. Then sort them based on internal resistance and capacity. Then by using a battery pack builder you can make the most balanced & well made pack that will last you really long time. Even better than the manufacturer intended. Maintaining cell balance is the most important thing in such battery packs. These bms's only monitor the balance voltage & terminate charging or discharging depending on the highest voltage or lowest voltage cell of the pack. So over time your capacity gets limited to the weakest cell. And to eliminate weak cells in the pack you have to sort them and bin them properly. It is not possible to get it 100% accurate but doing your best to make it accurate will already prolong the battery packs life & performance.
As a DVD collector this makes me sad that these are getting broken
Dude.... coolest brother in the world award.
"one offline device to listen to all of her favorite songs" I've said it before and I'll say it again: the relationship between technology and people peaked a decade and a half ago
Love how they go for 700-900 + yet only need a belt out of a $5 multi pack of belts 😂
It doesn’t go with the red. Looks weird.
"rather than replace the battery, I replaced all the batteries in the battery"
Literally blood sweat and tears in that one
The design is very human
The dust was rust. I've had this happen before to water damaged screens. It's a pain
