Experienced this for the first time at 21 working corporate as a receptionist and it filled me with such a deep rage. All that talk about “”just work harder it’ll get better” is a complete lie. It’s simply the quality of the job and if it meets these criteria: 1.livable wage (pay bills and have at least 20-30% of income leftover for wants/savings) 2. Relatively easy/low stress (mental labor only, no physical labor) 3. Healthy structured schedule (day hours and fixed schedule, no night shifts or rotating shifts)
